how smart was pac to avoid shane mosley?

oh i def didnt say floyd fought a prime shane...but he fought a better version and one that appeared to still have something left at least going into the fight.....the one pac fought was certified shot and done.....well beforehand....

exactly..im glad you agree.....smartest thing pac ever did was not take the test 5 years earlier and take the whooping....because then his fans wouldnt have had lil g bandwagon to jump on and they wouldnt have a shred of dignity left.....not that they do anyway......

 

Prime Shane ended after round 2 of the first Forrest fight imo. Different fighter after that, with terrible matchmaking (should not have fought Forrest again so quickly), less punch output (that he needed to beat a Winky Wright but couldn't do it), and lacking unbounded confidence. After Margarito, Mosley had to twerk hard for a big fight, breaking up with Golden Boy of which he was a part of to do it.

Not sure what to call that period between Forrest I and Mayweather for Mosley. In that 2nd phase of his career I believe he beats Pac but you never know considering Mosley seemed to struggle finding the right gameplan. Was not difficult to avoid Mosley as everybody was doing that, which is why I would not cry when it happens to other fighters.

I agree with the notion that neither fought a prime Mosley. As time passes, I'm starting to see that lots of people avoided a prime Mosley. He was really something else. It's certainly not taking anything away from either Pacquiao or Mayweather, but I just think that both those fights were not indicative of Mosley's actual skill level and talent.

I like Mosley more as time goes on.

Yep, I don't like either Pac or Floyd's chances vs the Mosley from the first De La Hoya fight. Actually I don't think either would have beat prime Oscar as well, but who knows?

 

The demographic only talks their agenda. Seriously, it's so easy to see. Just call them by their true name, the demographic. Then just leave them to their shame. :-(
