Plant based diet is the answer. High energy food for high energy animals.

You just need protein and vital minerals.. and there's protein in plant..

Think veg = box and meat = punch

Ali was a hook artiest with no power..

In title bout he would be classified as a "boxer".. you could even do a Frankie Gavin and eat beans on toast.. and rise to the top..

That's where the skills come in.. in hard work and dedication.. "skills" alone could get you to the top.. because it's boxing..

Floyd says hard work and dedication.. but you could burn off as much energy as you wanted in 3 minutes.. he's not really telling the full truth..

I think its the elder Diaz brother from the UFC is also a vegan, and he's an absolute machine fitness wise.

  7. Both brothers are vegans and reguarly complete half ironman triathlons.

I more or less do the vegan diet but the for a somewhat different reason to the physical well being it brings.
The meat free diet should be adopted by any serious athlete/boxer.

  12. The benefits are insane, you feel almost superhuman while training.

Watching Earthlngs inspired me to adopt the plant based diet and do not regret that decision, in fact one of the best decisions I've made.

As well as for top athletes, there is growing evidence for veganism being a good diet for your average Joe, too.

I have read a couple of reports, and there has been some documentaries that have reported the findings of these reports, about a town in California that has a high vegan population. The people of this town have a higher life expectancy and score higher on tests on mental health and overall well being.

Obviously, it is a small sample size, but there does seem to be more and more information coming out over recent years about the real benefits of veganism.

Personally i have cut meat down to about once a week if that and feel great, though i do eat fish a lot so not exactly vegan or eve veggie! Dont believe our bodies are built to eat the amount of meat a modern human does, id previously eat meat twice a day and felt bloated etc without even really realising it cos its the way id always felt, our diet should be mainly plant based. I have no scientific theory to back this up whatsoever, just how i feel when i chnage my eating habits!
