Considering that Pacquiao fought Barrera, Marquez, Morales and Cotto when they were on top logic would indicate that he did not fear fighting tough opponents.

Rather it was Mayweather who preferred the soft touches and has beens.

You are clinging on to 1 moment in negotiations when I have told you to look at things in it's entirety.

In my opinion, Manny could have accepted the 14 days. But then again, Floyd could have accepted 24 days or even 30. There wasn't a shred of evidence of any wrongdoing, and Floyd had no issue with any testing until his dad had spoken out. Manny was slandered, and my guess is, that due to his ego, he dug his heels in. But nobody else had an issue fighting Manny back then and the 2005 articles are still online where he'd been weakened from giving blood close to the Morales fight.

The common misconception is that Manny refused to be tested, which isn't true. He refused to be tested up until the day of the fight. Now people can say that that was an admission of guilt, but that was his right, and both guys have huge egos. But seeing as though there wasn't a shred of evidence of any wrong doing and Manny had agreed to be urine tested any day as well as to give an immediate after fight blood test, that should have been sufficient.

My feeling is, even if Manny had agreed to the 14 days, or Floyd had agreed to the 24, the fight wouldn't have happened anyway. You can't solely focus on the cut off days and say Manny stopped the fight from happening. That's silly and naive. Because the cut offs were just one obstacle out of many.

Eventually, Manny caved and agreed to everything. But then Floyd was quoted as wanting all of the PPV revenue from the biggest grossing fight of all time.

Both guys were to blame. But in my opinion, Floyd would always have put something in place to block the fight. I say that from watching hours of his interviews and looking at his body language etc.

oh shut up u stupid donkey.. pac didnt want cut off date so close to the fight because of what happen with morales. and its science that having substantial blood drawn for testing will weaken a person. pac agreed to anytime urine testing anyway. and eventually agreed to cut off time closer to fight.

at least pac didnt hook himself up to a 750ml iv bag the night before the fight and only got official approval for that 3 weeks after the fight happened.

fluid is a cheat. a scared one. period.

Even with this smoking gun they still deny it. The man that has been training PAC for years and is as close as you can get to PAC says this ON CAMERA and people still place full blame on Floyd. If this cannot convince them nothing will.

It's no secret that he wanted a cut off due to the Morales incident.

It works both ways though.

Floyd could have given him the cut off that he wanted, that including an immediate after fight blood test.

Like I said, it wouldn't have mattered anyway. Because Floyd's PPV stunt should tell anyone that it wasn't solely the testing that prevented the fight from happening earlier.

14 days is not close to the fight, that's ample time for him to recover from his needle fear, the only logical explanation is he was either ducking Floyd or using PEDS!
