A well educated white man from an ivy league school? Of course Floyd needs him. Honestly, every rich black athlete needs an HONEST white friend (ideally jewish) with a solid sense and sensibility and proper education in finance or accounting. Too many exceptional black athletes end up dirt poor, a-la Mosley. I feel bad whenever I see yet another fighter snaked by his so called friends, managers and wives, forced to sell their faded image for a fraction of what their name was worth in their prime.

If it wasn't for Al and Richard, yes. Al is black but he is a very well educated and intelligent man. No other black man from Floyd's entourage or his family for that matter fits that description.
