    Would been interesting if the fight had been for 12 rds. An example of where the revised "Championship rounds" of old, can be compared to todays 12-rounders.

    Good call. I suspect Duran would have stepped it up a notch and put him away sooner but who knows? Especially since Duran claimed that he was out of shape for the fight, it very well could have been a decent upset.

    Most interesting is the respect Lampkin gives Duran to this day. That, and how long he lasted. Under different circumstances, Lampkin could have had a nice career. Same thing applies to Dejesus, but when Dejesus contacted AID's and was close to dying Duran not only went to see him he gave him a big huge, and this was a time when people didn't want to be in the same room as someone who had AID's because the transmission of the HIV virus was unknown to most and it was assumed that you could catch AID's simply by being close to someone.

    Tyson vs Biggs, he admitted to carrying him for several rounds and he said Biggs was making woman noises and crying from the body punishment.
    Tyson also sid some cray stuff about putting Botha in a bodybag and killing Julius Francis and ripping Savarese's heart out.

    Also Sergey Kovalev's statements about what he was going to do to Jean pascal in the rematch. He turned Pascal into a shot fighter in the first fight, and in the build up for the rematch he said he wanted to end his career and punish him. He did. Best part was the post fight interview where Max Kelllerman asked him if he was carrying Pascal to punish him and he said "Yes i want fight more rounds. I want to make him more pain,."
