lol @trolls like you that try to justify a fight between the supposed next big thing in boxing VS a nobody where HALF his wins were against guys with losing records and won a vacant title and defended it against no one anyone has ever heard of.

Guess Canelo needs a break after fighting the likes of Khan, Kirkland and Angulo...right?

Lol it sounds like you're describing Golovkin's opponent's record.

Who gives a sh*t about Golovkin? I never even mentioned him. But since you DID mention him...take a look at his record dumba**. You'd be wrong.

Yes, because a Mexican is involved. Can you at least try to disguise your bias a little?

See, I feel like you're just saying things for the sake of talking. Have you seen smith fight? Have you seen his opponents? He is terrible. He has no power, limited crude technique, he is slow and he fought no one of note. To compare him to Lemieux unfavorably takes a whole new level of Golovkin hate. David is legit and is a top 3 at his weight. Liam isn't top 5 at his. He is bottom of the 10 list. And while it is an okay fight, it is nowhere near GGG - Lemieux. David would murder Liam in the ring, within 6 rounds.

Got em!! There is no distinction between Liam Smith's wins and Gennady Golovkin wins.
Nobody knows any of the people both guys fought.
That is a fact. The difference is that Golovkin has been able to build himself without a significant win. Good marketing my friend.

How do you figure that everything you said can be applied to Lemiuex only differences is I'm not trying to pass one off as a world beater.

Lemiuex has done nothing to suggests he can beat a quality fighter and has never beaten one in his career.
Lemiuex is a top 3 MW based on what beating journeymen who suck as bad as he does.

I don't even hate GGG I used to be a fan but him his comp and all his talk is bullsh!t. I call him out like I'd call out Alvarez for a bad matchup only one has consistently fought good fights while the other talks about how they'll do this an that but always finds a reason to not make fight's.

    Canelo should fight against Lara.

I'd prefer Canelo to fight Trout again over Lara. Lara remains a viable option for GGG in the future.:deal

Do you agree or disagree that Lemieux is a more proven fighter than Smith?

Is the 154 pound belt going to be fought at 155? Disgraceful. :patsch This bending of the rules by boxers is bull****.

No. Canelo has to make 154 for him to win it.

Really not much difference I'm not making either out to be something more than what they actually are, both have no wins to write home about and if Smith was signed to fight GGG and Lemiuex vs Alvarez this whole argument would be switched and it'd be Smith is an unbeaten Champ and Lemiuex would simply be the guy who got stopped by Rubio.
