Without his second career he had destructions over frazier and norton, yes,he would have an argument for top 10

well you cant have him above ali palli, King Louie and holmo, so max you can have Big G is top 4.

but surely lennox did a bit more, so hes surely above foreman.

the only question as to which top five atg might not be above George is Marciano because of the brevity of his career, goerge can trump him.

Holmes did his defences against weak comoetition and i think that frazier and 74 norton beats holmes

More craziness. George retired in 77. We know already that historians DID NOT rank him in the top ten. AFTER his comeback he is NOW rated very highly.

At the time ali was undefeated and retired in 1968 he was not rated neither ,he had victories over liston twice, patterson, moore, chuvalo, williams cooper... etc it is similar to the rocky record. Yes foreman could be included in the top 10 with his first career

Ali and Foreman became top 10 ATG in their second career.

Ali by rewining the championship and by fighting life and death in Manila and coming out on top.

Foreman by coming back to win the championship after so many years albeit against a lackluster group of contenders.

We know for a fact Foreman was not rated highly prior to his second career. His win over Moorer catapulted him from 11-20 to top five ATG.

Ali without his second career would probably be rated lower top ten today.

I currently have him at #8 and as high as #6 in the past. Foreman doesn't have much depth to his resume. 2 incredible wins over Frazier and Moorer aren't enough to put him Top 5 for me. Not with the fighters i have above him

    TOP WINS:

    Frazier
    Moorer
    Norton
    Frazier II
    Lyle

    C00ney
    Chuvalo
    Schulz?
    Savarese?
    Coetzer?

The above wins deserve Top 10 status but not Top 5 of all time in my opinion.

I cannot remember which Bowe fight it was, maybe Jesse Ferguson?

I'll have to try and track it down.
