Hopkins didn't even run against Kovalev. Saying Hopkins ran against Kovalev is too kind. Hopkins tried to litrally hide from Kovalev so to say he didn’t get Knocked out.

Like Hopkins did what Joe Louis once said “you can run but you can’t hide”. Hopkins literally tried to hide in the ring vs Kovalev.

Hopkins did nothing offensively vs Kovalev the entire fight, literally nothing, and that shouldn’t be commended. Say what you want about Roy Jones in the later stages of his career, but at least Roy Jones never went out just trying to hide from a guy the entire fight. Roy never lost all 12 rounds in his entire career, certainly not in a yawn fest like Hopkins did vs Kovalev.

 

And where did it get Jones? Everyone just took the **** out of him.
