The first fight was that good and fun to watch. Who agrees with me?

Prolly top 3 fight of the year, along with Salido-Vargas, etc

It was a great stylistic matchup which made for a fun fight to watch!

It was a great fight, the kind of fight on national TV that casual observers love to see. It'll raise boxings awareness.

A sequel. . . . . in about 2-3 years time, if the circumstances still make it legit.

I had it a draw. But 115-113 either way is fine, but I'd lean towards Thurman in that scenario. People scoring it 116-112 Porter and bragging like that's the right score is really cringing.

    It wasn't a close fight???

What were you watching? That fight was close as hell. It could've gone either way.

Draw, close porter or Thurman split decision, but unanimous? Would love to see a Brook or Thurman rematch.

Tell you who's desperate, absolutely dying for the 2 Times to rematch... Danny Garcia.

Thurman vs Garcia with the winner fighting Brook or Vargas to unify the division, that would be ideal. We can wait for a rematch.

Thurman looked like he wanted to quit, but props to him for hanging in there for the W.
Porter, that guy is the energizer bunny.
Good fight. Porter is B+ or A- level. Brook beats Thurman also.

It doesn't just deserve a sequel, there HAS to be a rematch, and it should be immediate. Sure give them a good five months if they want, but Porter could easily lose to Garcia and Thurman to Brook, so strike while the iron's hot and settle who's the better man. If Porter wins a close, debateable rematch of course a third fight would make sense.

Thurman is more versatile and has more room to adjust his attack and win decisively in a rematch. But if Thurman fights the same fight Porter should be better able to read him and not let him off the hook and win clearly. But let's see it next, don't milk the public with a tuneup or two.
