DSG's father/manager: "Why the hell Thurman and Porter is fighting each other when they can just fight Rod Salka?"

Good luck getting this fight agree to the fight.

So Thurman is a pretender with a questionable record, but Brook is the real deal? How do you justify that?

I would favor Thurman against Garcia. However, Thurman did not look great against Porter, he lost on my card by a round or a draw.

garcia is a better puncher than porter.
not harder maybe. but better. he adjusts and is capable of a plan B. which porter isn't.
    garcia goes to the body..HARD.
    and is a finisher.
porter is none of those things.
granite jaws do get cracked and i hope porter either hires another trainer or changes his style a bit.
    it worked for thurman.

I'm starting to think Garcia does a lot better than people expect vs Thurman, the two times Keith has stepped up vs Guerrero and Porter he didn't look good at all to me.
Won't say I'd pick him to win but Danny could make it very competitive.

Garcia gets hit flush waaay too much... Thurman would stop him & his flat foot style.
Danny forgot to bring his punching power to 147

Garcia hasn't fought a true welterweight yet and has struggle with his past couple of fights at welterweight. Thurman is the essence of a true welter and would stop Garcia unless Swift can get into that body real early.

Well Thurman lost to Porter and got a gift and Brook beat him decisively.

Garcia is pretender at 147. HE's holding that belt hostage by fighting no-hopers.

lol at calling out berto next. The WBC rankings are a joke:
    1. Amir Khan
    2. Andre Berto
    3. Lamont Peterson
    4. Charles Manyuchi
    5. Errol Spence

He'll never accept a unification bout with Thurman or brook unless haymon twists his arm hard.
