I don't think beating Thurman makes you a top 10 P4P :think I think Brook beats Thurman but Spence Jr smashes the pair of them to pieces.
A more relevant question is when will Brook stop his bum of the month world title reign and actually fight Thurman?
If they ever fight it will be close because they both fight on the outside. Brook is a classic boxer, very upright, good jab, decent power but not much, perfect for Keith Thurman. Thurman likes to box and he likes to be chased. Kell will not pressure Keith like Collazo and Porter did. Keith likes distance fighting and Kell does too, it will be a chess match aka BORING TO CASUALS!
Brook isn't Porter who Thurman BEAT if you haven't noticed. Brook doesn't go to the body enough to beat Thurman. You can't change a fighters style through 1 training camp.
And I was right you crackpot. And yeah I know you'll say Porter was beaten by Thurman, but you also scored Brook-Porter for Porter, so you have zero credibility.
No I'm not a hypocrite, Porter won on my card and several others, the fight was hard to score, anything from 116-112, 115-113 for Porter to a draw is acceptable, but Thurman didn't do enough to win in my opinion, and even if you were generous and gave it to him 115-113 like the biased PBC judges did, that score isn't anything to brag about and act like it was a total domination. And for the record you're probably the only person on this site that thought Brook-Porter was the biggest robbery of 2014. Why do you argue for all of us how every decision Huck, Abraham and Sturm got were totally on the up and up too, you nationalistic weirdo.
Brook is too slow to pose a significant threat to Thurman. Thurman is basically Mayweather plus power. Kell Brook is just an ordinary fighter, which is why his promotor has kept him on a steady diet of bums since they bought the ref to steal the title from Porter.
I think what might be the difference should the fight happen is Thurmans footwork/lateral movement. Kell doesn't seem nearly as fast on his feet and it could be a determining factor. Though both have alot of mus**** on their punches so who knows.
