froch says he made offer to golovkin at 172

Froch was always bragging about how he hardly cut any weight at 168. And it's true, he was like 175.

 

Why should Golovkin fight him at 172? Even if Froch really is a true 175er (which doesn't make sense since all of his meaningful fights were at 168), Golovkin is a 160er. Halfway between 160 and 175 is 167.5, so Golovkin would actually be giving Froch half a pound by fighting him at 168. He'd be giving him 4.5 by fighting him at 172. Why should he do that?



Froch just didn't want any, period.

Team GGG asked for the fight at 168 the weight that groves fought him at and GGG would of been moving up himself but Froch got scared its ok for him to fight groves at 168 but not GGG?

Hearn and Loeffer both admitted to finalising a deal at 168 and it was up to Froch whether he wanted it or not.
