You guys must think you are protecting the IVboy's image, but all you're doing is polarizing everyone against IV cheaters.

Fluid will go down in history with an asterisk next to his name.

No, just offering my opinion and some maturity. I don't believe he had trouble with weight.

His image is pretty ****ed, can't protect what's already destroyed lol

A hater is cool, maybe one day I'll come across a mature one.

Mayweather certainly had a fine career. His wins over quality fighters like Corrales and Castillo are nothing to laugh about.

The problem is he didn't leave it there. He says he's TBE. He says he's this great fighter, among the very best of all time.

And I'm just sitting here going are you ****ing kidding me? Your best win is Jose Luis Castillo and you have have the audacity to say I'm TBE.

    Sit down son.

Same, I was a HUGE fan of PBF, but he lost me as a fan when he chose money over legacy.

Again...dirty money that Flamo's will NEVER touch.

    :good

You can break most any fighters resume down in this fashion in order to negate or reduce their value as a fighter. It all depends on your bias and how you want to slant things.

For instance, you can hold Oscar and Shane against Floyd, or you can realize that he was calling both of them out for years and neither wanted it. Mosley even talked about a tooth ache when asked about it on live TV  None of that is Floyd's fault.

Mayweather was also ready and willing to give Pac 50/50 and fight him back in '10, but Pac didn't want to take the test, proceeding to delve out a variety of excuses as to why. I'm not saying he was on anything, but the offer was there and should have been easy to accept for any clean fighter. There are 3 counters already to the OP.

I would love a list of all the great fighters Mayweather avoided who were both available and willing to fight and when it should have happened. I'll even give you Margo though I don't believe it to be a duck. Who else wanted it and when and who did Floyd fight instead?

So tell me. How is it that Floyd was so avoided by everybody else when he has no punching power?

When guys like Duran and Pacquiao could get anybody in the ring with them?

It must've been the around the clock care, constant supply of water in training camp, and also the special chef meals. Yeah, this must have dehydrated him.

Oh absolutely not. Floyd's resume has been completely overhyped unfortunately. It's actually miserable that he fought good fighters in awful condition.

Floyd calling Oscar out? When? Besides, was it when Oscar was fighting middleweights? Mosley-Oscar 2 had taken away Oscar's prime.

Ultimately, I don't care. The fact is, Mayweather fought them when they were ancient discoveries from the monolithic period.

Mayweather should have dared to be great the same way people are demanding Golovkin..move up weight classes and fight prime fighters in the higher weight classes.

Mayweather ran into retirement from 2007-2009 to avoid prime Cotto, prime Pacquiao, prime Margarito and prime Williams. Disgusting.

    Updated.

The conditions of Mayweather's opponents were just too extreme to not mention. I understand that boxers aren't really 100% but in the case of Mayweather's career, they all just seem to be in bad condition.

Exactly, he's an amazing fighter, and has some legitimate elite wins, but there's so many holes in his career that we just can't avoid.

Damn.. You know if all of this is true and the whole world believes it, no one's life would be different than it is now.. If Floyd only fought 50 year old guys for his career, you can't take away his money, which is why he's fighting.. Being "great" is something others think about you.. Some were thought not to care what others think of you as long as you and your people ate taken care of.. IVe said enough.. <-- Lame IV joke...
