Joe Louis took a nap in the ring. Joe Louis is one of the GOAT's.

That's the problem. People buy into Floyd Mayweather's own words. It doesn't make it right.

He is your holy prophet, and ya'll are his followers.

Just gotta keep it 100 sometimes. Floyd beat a past prime Genaro, a completely drained Corrales and lost to Castillo. It doesn't mean I can't be a fan of Floyd as PBF.

He did move up in weight for big fights, the biggest statistically (until Pac) being DLH at 154, his first fight at that weight. I can't blame Floyd for setting 154 as his weight limit ceiling and avoiding the MW division considering where he started. Pac may have moved up through more weight classes, but he also started much younger. A 16 yr Pac and a 16 yr Mayweather are around the same weight.

I would have loved to see Floyd in there with Williams. His length and workrate would have made things quite difficult. Floyd would have been quicker then and not as prone to all the holding he did later in his career. He wouldn't have had the pop to keep Williams off him though, so I could see decision *possibly* going to Williams if he could keep Floyd from going full octopus on him. It would be an ugly affair. The judges are always the X-factor of course, but the DLH and Canelo fights show that Vegas may not love him as much as we think.

He prob thinks Floyd schools Louis. Some of these flamers are hilarious.

I mean I think I'm a bigger fans of Mayweather's skills than most but to denigrate anyone who has been knocked out is utterly ridiculous. Some of the sport's most legendary fights have been laid out cold. This is boxing FFS.

This is the biggest problem I have with Fraud Runner Jr.
Muhammad Ali pulled out/expressed moments of sheer greatness in the ring that only a prime ATG can push you to, with Mayweather, it's completely justified is someone says he loses to EVERY SINGLE ATG in history because he never showed he can be great against a true at-or-near prime Great.

I'm sorry but I can't make an ATG have Floyd's exact opponents. He hasn't proven he's one of the best ever.

What has GGG shown that he can beat a single ATG or near prime ATG? But yet you suck him off every chance you get?:deal

Id like a list of opponents floyd ducked and the year he ducked them in. I'd also like a list of who he fought instead. I'll wait....

Floyd Mayweather = Lost 6% of his fights in the sport of boxing.
Gennady Golovkin = Lost 2% of his fights in the sport of boxing.
Therefore, Mayweather is a bigger loser than Golovkin.

Golovkin was too busy chasing legitimate greatness fighting THE BEST OF THE BEST in amateurs, and becoming renown as a great boxer in the unpaid ranks.
