Crawford should beat Postol without issues

its a good fight but postol has no power crawford should put in a dominating performance

Fair enough. I do think Crawford will have issues with Postol's reach. Crawford always tries to use his long arms as his advantage and that won't work in this situation.

 

I remember Postol making Matthysse do a few pivots. And he KTFO Aydin.
Not saying Postol is some puncher but he is no Malignaggi.
A decent shot that lands flush will make any fighter honest.

 

I agree. Postol is good, but is getting overrated, and this is no pick 'em fight. The bookies know what's up, and have Crawford a 1/6 fave for a reason. Postol had a style advantage over Matthysse and Matthysee had the freak injury, so we shouldn't take too much from that performance. He's still a pretty basic outside boxer, and Crawford will figure him out, take away his jab, and sharp shoot to a pretty clear decision.

 

Postol is being overrated here. I expect a wide UD at worst for Crawford.

crawford has more tools, i think he wins clear UD.

However if he doesnt use all his tools and postol's style bothers him, then he will get a SD. crawford wont knockout postol.

While I don't agree with your entire post, I do with this statement. I'm a big Crawford fan, but there are some things he does that downright bother me. He has tough moments here and there and for me, it's all due to his insistence of staying in the southpaw stance. It's incredibly irritating, especially when he appears to be doing better work out of the orthodox stance.

This was most obvious against Jean, I believe. He kept hurting him with every shot/combo out of the orthodox stance, but would immediately switch to southpaw and suffocate his work. It was absolutely bothering the **** out of me since he could have closed the show much earlier. Maybe he was really wanting to hurt him? If he gets in there with someone who in turn hurts him or does well against him while he's southpaw, he seems the type who will stay in that stance the rest of the way, out of pride and to prove a point. This stubborness could his downfall.
