Am I the only one that doesn't get the hype? He's alright but nothing special, can't see him being world champion...

Has decent hand speed, ok power, decent chin, but beyond that he struggles to fight at pace, takes long breaks in rounds, is open when throwing his own shots, likes to get stuck on the ropes and agajnst decent opposition his power doesn't have much of an effect (see takam fight)

I just can't see him doing much...

I think Joshua beats him and I think Joshua is massively overhyped himself.

Agree with everything, Joshua is overhyped but would be shocked if Parker pulled it off.
That Takam fight was a bit of an eye opener for a while it looked as if Takam was well in with a chance of winning that. Parker looked knackered after about 3 rounds and was eating way too many clean punches which is a recipe for disaster against Joshua.

Parker would be more competitive than 'Prince Charles' effort, and the limited Breazeale who barely landed a punch. AJ's best win i think is still Dillian Whyte and he isn't that great himself. It's very easy to sell AJ opponents to the public, just say they are undefeated but don't go into details on who they have actually beat.

I think Parker will be Joshua's hardest fight by a mile.
He has power , youth, energy and a bit of speed.
If I had to bet I'd go for Joshua but wouldn't be surprised if Parker wins.

He might be his hardest fight to date but I suspect he'll be easier than whyte, think he's a similar level with less power, probably quicker though...

I don't rate his power, every heavyweight has power to some extent but watch his top 5 KOs on YouTube, only one of them is a proper KO, the others are just accumulation against an opponent who is overwhelmed and overmatched. His conditioning also seems poor, against Takam it wasn't exactly a blistering pace and he still seemed knackered pretty early on, did take some good shots though...

Only seen his last fight. Didn't look to have much power so won't scare Joshua.

Parker won't beat AJ but causes him loads of issues being the fastest person hes faced.

Parker beats Brezeale an hes the mandatory so makes sense to fight AJ next if Hearn swerves you know theres a bit of doubt there currently

Nearly all Joshua's KO's are the same. He doesn't have 1 punch ko power.

That wasn't a one punch KO...it was a clean shot on an exhausted fighter who should have had better preparation and conditioning and who had an injury. Whyte had too much pride and lacked the ringcraft to hold on. AJ landed far too many shots on Whyte and he was an awful lot bigger and stronger in December than he was on Saturday. Odd that.

The division is about the most interesting it has been for a while, it's just the IBF rankings are poor. But there are interesting match ups out there with Haye back on the scene, Wilder, Fury, Klitschko...trouble is none of them will fight each other anytime soon except Fury and Klitschko... Haye vs Joshua is another interesting fight because of the domestic angle but unless Haye is shot I think he wins...I also don't see it happening...

What's going on with Lucas Browne? Not saying he's good enough to make the division more interesting, just wondering what is going on with his doping allegations?
