Floyd puts up a fight but gets stopped eventually. Frazier didn't really have elite power and Patterson was blazing fast with good defensive abilities so this probably goes into the mid/late rounds.
Mid-50's Patterson moved around. Problem is, prior to '72, Frazier moved too. Frazier catches up to Patterson after 5 rounds, & TKO's him.
Frazier will son him in four rounds. Patterson isn't mean enough, Frazier is mean as hell every time he was out there. Plus he had a harder hook, better chin, and though he was not as fast as Floyd, he has more than enough speed to catch up to him.
Frazier was not a great starter but in this matchup I think he gets an early knockout. Floyd is not gonna take that hook well. An average hook from Joe gonna shake Patterson and be the beginning of the end.
