Good news guys! Ryabinsky: WADA has ruled, certified Povetkin as clean!

I said before that the banning of meldonium was political but at least wada have come to thier senses, 1mg is still a ridiculously low limit, the fact they found 70 nanograms kind of amazes me, it shows how good vada testing is.

A lot of youtubers eg dontaes boxing nation deserved to be sued and anyone that slandered povetkin. If you have the Gaul to write or say something that is not true or out of context and call yourself a boxing reporter spreading lies and hate you deserve to suffer the consequences .

Wilder if it is found he pulled out of the fight before a wbc decision on top of the slanderous comments he made could lose millions.

That's just very poor moderation, they leave the countless threads that could get a lawsuit against the site yet delete logical ones.

He's not certified clean at all.

The date at which ingesting meldonium became illegal hasn't changed, it's just that it remains in the body longer than previously thought.

The problem is as it always was for Povetkin, the re-emergence after 3 negative tests, during the time in which it was banned.

It's of course possible, likely even, that detection methods for Meld are unreliable. But until WADA makes a statement to that effect, Povetkin is not CERTIFIED clean.

 

It is very easy and reasonable that you could see a spike. Drug might affect fat cells, which weight loss could trigger the rise again. I read THC does similar to people that haven't smoked in a very long time. They get tested after losing weight and fail because of this.

 

I'm not saying it's not possible, but I've never seen this reason hold water for any other drug in any sport. Personally, I need WADA to state this can happen specifically with meldonium before I'm willing to accept that's what happened as though it were fact.

My issue is with people saying this news proves he's clean. It changes absolutely nothing.

This news proves he may or may not be clean. So this is a massive change from the "100% guilty" verdict US press has spread right after the news of the fight falling apart broke.
