Bad for Boxing? Wilder vs Arreola?

    Is this fight "bad" for boxing or is it all Sasha's fault because he tested positive for Mel?

    I rate Wilder higher than many on here and with that said I have a issue with him fighting Chris Arreola, no offense to the warrior but in his last many fights Chris has looked horrible imo.

    Regardless of the screw up with Sasha, well regardless of that situation, this fight is a horrible match up at this point in Wilder's career.

    I am still surprised this fight got made but I guess I really shouldn't be :nut

    Canceled a fight vs a guy found with traces amount of a recently banned substance only to fight a guy who failed his last post fight drug test

    Hypocrisy at it's finest

    what did he test for?

    it wasn't just weed was it?

    (I don't follow very much outside the ring stuff :oops: )

    Chris was caught with smoking dope :lol: which was most likely detrimental, the other a PED. You are one dumb pole rock.

    I agree with that.

    Still I think Wilder vs Arreola is such a weak match up. I am not hating on Wilder, just surprised this fight is worthy of his time as well as the fans time.

    yeah I hear you, still I have more issue with how poor Chris has looked in the ring in his last several fights.

    that's another story, how does a guy who:
    -almost lost to Curtis Harper
    -drew with Kassi
    -was beaten up by Kauffman and got a gift decision

    in his last few fights suddenly gets a title shot? it's absolutely ridiculous, I cannot believe Wilder's team couldn't find a better opponent, even at short notice
