Based on what we have seen, Wilder has the power to KO stiffs and washed up mediocrities like Harrison and Lyakhovich.

As far as having the power to KO decent fighters, there is no basis to assume this - and much reason to doubt it.

Wilder is a total fraud, whose "power" is equal to his ability to take a punch, which is to say non-existent.

Just reminding people what a FRAUD Wilder is. He's fought nothing but the worst stiffs and most washed up "name" opponents his management could find.

I can see it now "Wilder Soup" with a picture of him running around a ring doing his dance. "Wilder soups....so gooooooood You will dance with every bowl." However, someone should do some invetigating.....perhaps he is invested heavily in Campbells. They offer a long line of consummate and delicious soups...for the whole family. It's America's dinner table.

Dude, although I do not drink, I will be cracking my equivalent of champagne, and jumping for joy, trust me.

I tell you, as a boxing fan, I am SO ****ed off at this con-game being played on the boxing public. :fire It's outrageous!

And, unfortunately, some of those less knowledgeable about the sport and its history have been hoodwinked. I can't wait until this fraud is exposed.

I kind of look at him as this era's Ruiz, but with more power. Although I would guess Ruiz likely had more skills than Wilder does.

The only name on his resume is Stiverne. All his defences were fringe men.

Ruiz was less naturally skilled, and a much dirtier fighter - his entire career at the world class level is essentially based on violating the rules of boxing. This said, while Ruiz cheated against them, at least he got in the ring with top fighters.

Wilder has more natural athletic ability, but has not really faced any decent fighters. People will point to Stiverne, but Stiverne has since been exposed as shockingly mediocre. Probably not even as good as Fres Oquendo, one of Ruiz's only definitive wins against B-level opposition.

Ruiz was a fraud because he used illegal tactics and his connections to King to get wins against top level fighters that he wouldn't otherwise have gotten. Wilder is a fraud because he doesn't face anybody decent, in order to keep his glass jaw from getting exposed. Both are among the most bogus HW champs of all time.

Even though Golovkin's records isn't ATG yet, there aren't really that many active fighters who've stepped up and fought more difficult opponents than he has. In terms of accomplishments in the sport he ought to be around #18 right now, if that's all you base p4p on. Still, not that bad.

Active fighters who've taken more difficult fights than GGG

Cotto- Mayweather, Pacquiao, Alvarez, Martinez, Trout, Margarito, Mayorga, Mosley, Judah
Donaire- Darchinyan, Rigondeaux, Narvaez, Marquez, Montiel, Arce, Nishioka, Walters
Alvarez- Mayweather, Mosley, Cotto, Lara, Khan, Trout
Bradley- Pacquiao, Marquez, Vargas, Provodnikov, Witter
Klitschko- Povetkin, Byrd, Peter, Ibragimov, Thompson, Haye, Fury
    Ward- Froch, Kessler, Bika, Abraham
Khan- Alvarez, Garcia, Judah, Maidana, Barrera
    Garcia- Morales, Khan, Matthysse, Judah
    Gonzalez- Viloria, Estrada, Sosa, Yaegashi
    Estrada- Viloria, Segura, Gonzalez, Marquez
    Lara- Alvarez, Williams, Martirosyan
    Glowacki- Huck, Cunningham
    Kovalev- Hopkins, Pascal
    Crawford- Gamboa, Burns, Beltran
    Lomachenko- Russell Jr, Salido, Martinez
    DeGale- Bute, Dirrell, Groves
    Inoue- Hernandez, Narvaez
    Golovkin- Lemieux, Murray,
    Thurman- Porter
    Brook- Porter
    Rigondeaux- Donaire
    Fury- Klitschko,
    Postol- Matthysse
    Santa Cruz- Mares

But tell me this, if fighting the most difficult opponents around makes you p4p the best, do you then consider Cotto or Nonito Donaire p4p #1? Or does it have something to do with the way you dispatch opponents, the skill involved, and current level of dominance displayed?

What does this have to do with the fact that Wilder fights nothing but no hopers?

Golovkin's opposition, while deserving of some criticism, look like a pack of ATGs compared to the stiffs Wilder has faced.
