No problem man. I had no idea how old the question was, I'm glad I saw it and was able to help. Like I said in the earlier posts I have so much boxing on tape, pretty much anything you can think of that was from the 70's until the mid 2000's I have original recordings of. And then anything I didn't have I aquired back in the day thru trades with other collectors.

Those old openings are amazing, the HBO opening music from the late 80's and early 90's is also amazing.. The old Tuesday Night Fights theme gets me too!! Looks like I'll be doing some more uploading. I just used my phone for this one I need to look into ways to transfer. And the best software or device to use.

    Again glad I could help

I loved the 80's HBO intro. Really classy. An HBO fight felt so big back then. Even now when I watch an old fight it feels like a big event.

I had to look up Tuesday Night Fight intro. I didn't remember it as well. I just remember fight after fight at the Blue Horizon!

Yeah they modified it many times over the years but the one from the late 80s early 90s it almost looks like a shot of the blue Horizon and they show the ring lights and they basically come down and at center ring it says Tuesday night fights!!!

That music like puts me into the DeLorean and sends me back in time!!!' I remember watching it every Tuesday night 8 to 10 PM central time where I live, and then they re showed at 12 midnight to 2 AM... I recorded it every week, every single episode they ever aired I recorded, never missed one!!!!

I remember having to wait for murder she wrote to go off and other times it was quantum leap and various other things the murder she wrote closing credits are burned into my brain because I would always turn it on there about five minutes before Tuesday night fights would starr to make sure I would start my recording on time.. Being that I was in school during the 80s and early 90s there was something about being up on a school night in my bedroom watching that every week!!!

    FANTASTIC MEMORIES!!

it would be great if they brought it back. there is a channel named decades; it is on certain cable stations where all they do is rehash past shows and really boring events (like watergate)

my point is that if a 24 hour network devoted to the past is still on the aire after 9 months, then an hour long devotion to boxing greats would be a success and has the news channels (the sky is falling) beat for entertainment value

I would LOVE to be in charge of programming as there would never be a shortage of classics. It wouldnt be just Ali & Leonard, although I would mix them in too

an hour long during prime time has to be better than "what would you do?"

One fighter I would love doing an expose on would be Terry Norris who like a phoenix from the ashes, rose to stage the greatest comeback in boxing history :happy
