Lil g would much rather wait it out keep hoping canelo fights him than take a challenge and risk a loss

Lil g ain't build for legacy or taking tough fights.....he keeps eyeing that Canelo carrot dangling

Froch imo at least is one of those boxers who never had a "prime" or was ever regarded as being "shot". A limited boxer, tough with decent power and cast iron jaw. But he was consistent and retired on his terms.

    No, you're right.

You're just a waste of time.

You're not looking for a debate.

He was never going to fight Carl at 172 pounds after he'd just won the IBF title and he was looking at fighting Canelo.

    It was a fantasy.

The thing that stuck with me was that Carl admitted that Robert McCracken had said he thought he could make 168 again if he lived the life.

Carl's a warrior and he deserves an enormous amount of respect for what he's achieved. But all this is nonsense. Basically, he's missing the limelight and still wants to be talked about.

Froch is probably walking around not far from 168 now if he still wants it. It sounds like this 172 business is just an attempt to keep his name in the press. I have a friend who is a boxing coach and used to post on this forum. He met Froch and discussed the GGG fight. He said Froch was remarkably candid about the fight. Apparently, just before Froch officially retired and was looking for a Vegas fight, GGG was a very real possibility. Froch said that he thought he could have beaten him but he knew he would have to take a lot of punishment to do it, and he felt like he had been in enough wars in his career and that wasn't the type of fight he wanted in his swansong.

Froch is a slugger type fighter with heavy hands and iron toughness.............and that is it. To say Froch is a better boxer is laughable, Golovkin is a technical boxer with heavy hands, Froch is a slugger, which one do you think is a better boxer? :think
