Floyd was a boxing marvel. He made boxing look easy and that is far more difficult than many realize. Offensively there was no one skill that stood out amongst his offensive skills; he had a repertoire of weapons; none particularly devastating but that is exactly why he was a great fighter. He never relied on one offensive skill that could be planned for or exploited. He never had a 'war" in the ring in his entire career and that was entirely his fault. In fact it was totally by design.
Athletic marvel but not as good of an athlete as PBF remember that. There's a reason why PBF had better reflexes faster hands and would have always beaten Pac to the punch at any periods of their career.:deal Also PBF is the fighter of the era. Fighter of the era>fighter of the decade whic is yet another reason why PBF is ranked higher than Pac in all polls.
Excellent post the fact that he was never dragged into a toe to toe battle in his prime shows you how great he is. Fighters go to war because they have to not because they want to.:deal
Instead, when he was prime he got beaten by Jose Luis Castillo in the opinion of most. He also fought mediocre fighters so it's nothing special there.
Yeah in rubbish polls that have rubbish rankings with awful lists. PBF won't pay your bills, nor will he stop you from being a loser.
According to you. Too bad for you in the record books he's 2-0 against JLC. He didn't fight mediocre fighters either. Some of the same guys he fought Pac and Cotto fought as well if that's the case they're mediocre names for them as well you can't have it both ways.
Yet PBF beat both fighters so who cares? In fact JLC gave PBF a harder fight than JMM and Pac combined how does that work?:huh
These polls have more credibility than you me and everyone here combined.:deal Facts won't stop you from being a hater and losing sleep every since May 2nd 2015. Don't get mad at me becasue I'm giving you fools the business in this thread.:yep:good
Pacquiao is the more athletic fighter in his prime. He was a tremendous combo of speed, power and workrate. His performance against Marco Antonio Barrera is the greatest exhibition of physically overwhelming someone since at least Pryor Arguello.
He was not the more athletic fighter. If Pac would have fought PBF at 130 you would have seen that he clearly wasn't. He would have been out-maneuvered around the ring beat to the punch at will and been out sped. He didn't have better reflexes than PBF period. The only thing faster he would have been able to do than PBF would be throw in combination and what good is that when he won't be landing that **** anyway. PBF has far more usable speed in a boxing match and it showed when they fought and nothing would have changed had they been able to fight while PBF was at 130. PBF was always the superior athlete and boxer to Pac.
If he was black he would have been seen as overrated who has been stopped 3 times and had half a dozen loses.:deal With that said refute my post or go back under a different alt. You're out of your league when it comes to actual boxing discussion stick to being racists, trolling and creating new alts because that's all you can do.:hi:
