It's well known how difficult Eubank Sr is to deal with.He just cost his son the opportunity of a lifetime and millions of $$$ with his rediculous demands. Double the money Joshua got? Control of everything? Come on dude, who do you think you are. I definitely don't think Jr was duck and his dad just cost him massively

Hearn gave him a roasting - if half was correct then Eubank was micromanaged out of a shot.

Team GGG could have worked through the issues and made the Eubank fight if they wanted to. Loefflers been mentioning Brook as a potential opponent for months now, and seeing how they flat out refused to negotiate with the Eubanks and wasted no time in blowing them out it looks suspiciously like the Brook fight is the one they've wanted all along. .

Team GGG have effectively dropped out of all negotiations after only a week, with seemingly no effort to try and come to an agreement to jump at a fight with a guy 2 divisions below. Yet somehow they are completely blameless and it's all the Eubanks fault Golovkin is fighting a welterweight. This board kills me.

Golovkin wants to fight 4 times per year, 3 minimum, he can't wait around for Eubank. Eubank had the fight, but did not sign..............

You have a very creative imagination, I'll give you that. With a story that good, who needs the truth?

Did you listen to the interview with Hearn? The fight was killed because Eubank Sr was making demands that meant he was effectively running the promotion. You're talking *******s.

If Eubank wanted to fight GGG, probably it will be better to do more decision making on his own, but if Eubank jr. was not intending to fight GGG, his father took the hit instead of Jr. who can play the line that he hadn't seen the contract.

Did you miss the part where K2 and Hearn agreed on everything , but Eubank`s wanted to run the show instead of matchroom ? listen to hearn he explains it , K2 were not even a side , it was Eubank and the leading promoter of the fight (which it happens to be HIS promoter) not agreeing on how the show will run , who will broadcast and how much tickets will cost , all of those obstacles are not related to K2 , they dont have any influence on how much a ticket will cost .... but whatever , it is however a really ***** move to sign to fight a WW , this i wont defend , but Eubank didnt want it , that was clear.

That is just one side of the story. Although probably accurate.

No matter what you think of Hearn he delivers for his fighters and I think ****ing off and alienating him and matchroom could be even more costly than loosing this fight because Snr is a complete tool. They lost this over greed and arrogance but it was GGG's name making this PPV. Eubank has only had a couple of fights on sky and he is not a draw or a PPV fighter on his own. They wanted more control from Hearn than Froch and AJ ever had. Jr must look at Conner Benn with envy on how Nigel lets his son get on with it.
