    He should've fought Lara in this case.
    This is worse than Khan-Canelo because regardless, Canelo can still cut weight to be 155lbs in the weigh in, not a huge 160lbs that Golovkin will come in at.

    You do realize that there's yet to be a MW who an take GGG's punch, yet a WW who was badly rocked by Senchenko will? Does it not occur to mentally ill GGG bashers like you, that bigger harder hitting fighters regardless of resume and name recognition tend to beat down smaller fighters?

    Go watch Rosado-Soto Karass or Rosado-Clottey *******.

    If his promoter were paying peanuts Brook would have never taken the fight. If you think Vargas was paying more than Golovkin why didn't Brook take that easier fight?

    I am not defending this fight. Not my choice. I simply stated what was Golovkin to do? Start negotiation with another promoter/fighter and waste more time? Hearn offered Brook.

    And meeting half ways, in that case, fight Canelo at CANELOWEIGHT, not a WW.


    My choices were Saul "I can put on the gloves right now and fight" Alvarez

    Danny "I won't be ready in another 18 months for Golovkin" Jacobs

    Billy Joe "Golovkin can beat us in the same night" Saunders.

    It is a sh.it fight just like Canelo vs Khan. But who do you suggest he should have fought in September? That's like two months away. Start negotiation with whom exactly for a fight in two months? How long do negotiations take?

    If he is getting a career high payday, to KO a smaller man, in a fight that would raise his profile, why not? I think it's weak sauce from a fan stand point, but from a business stand point, it makes sense. I'd do the same, if I would get a career high payday to KO a smaller guy.

    This fight and the failed Eubank one happened because of Hearns not K2, Hearns wanted a big fight in the UK put the money up and got it done. K2 didn't put up anything they just accepted a contract K2&GGG can't make fights unless you'll take 100k.

    A joke. Seriously. Not only is Brook two weights smaller, he's not even proven as something special. If he was some prodigy, proven Welterweight it wouldn't be as embarrassing (still would be).
