Don't be stupid. Lara has been calling out GGG non stop for the last two years.

Has he done ANYTHING other than Twitter callout? Like maybe send an offer? Or call him out live like he did Canela?

 

Lara would have been a much better fight, but I think the issue was that Eubank insisted the fight be in England and GGG had already rented the O2 Arena. Lara isn't a draw in America. He wouldn't pull **** in England. You need a local fighter to get any sizable audience in that country. When Eubank wouldn't sign by the deadline GGG needed any British fighter he could find who would sign right away, otherwise they wouldn't get a decent training camp. Of the four British fighters available Brook stepped up and signed first.

This is my biggest issue with the Brook fight and the Khan fight. Better fighters were available.

Yes the pay won't be as good but these fights have no legacy benefit whatsoever. I know legacy doesn't pay the bills but I'm not a fan of finances, I'm a fan of fights and better fights could have been made.

 

It don't make busine$$ $en$e to fight Lara because nobody know$ him and hi$ $tyle is boring.

 

Although GGG-Brook is a bigger farce, Lara is a farce himself.

 

That's the problem. Too many fans care about the business side of things. Do we want these men to get paid or do we want them to fight the best available fighters?
