Serisously though sad how overrated the heavyweights are after the 1970's.

Care to provide some of those," many sources".

Walcott weighed 192lbs for Simon, five years later he was 4 pounds lighter for the Baksi fight. :think

You want to pick that version of Ali?
How about the version of Walcott that Marciano took out with one uppercut in the 1st round?

We assume ,unless otherwise directed that we are matching prime for prime.
Walcott himself said Ali was the best heavyweight he had seen.

Jersey Joe had more everything that mattered than Young. Yeah Young, you know, the guy with the punch of a welterweight, who happened to school Ali, just to get robbed. What else? Oh, yes, he also decked Foreman, beat him and took him to school! Yep, JJW would beat Holmes, and horror above horrors for the Ali worshippers, he would beat him also.

Walcott did say that and Frazier said that Quarry was his toughest fight! :deal

As if by fate, a friend of mine jusr dropped off a 1951 Ring he found at a flea market... it's loaded with Walcott, including the cover.

That's funny because I have Frazier quotes from FOTC where he says Ali is the toughest man he ever fought.:huh

But in reality, The Foreman fights were his toughest fights for him, of course. Just shows that JJW saying Ali was the best doesn't mean anything. Consider that boxing greats are often the worst when it comes to picking winners in upcoming fights.

We are discussing which opponent a fighter says was his toughest , not who he picks to win a match up .I guess Old Joe knew best.:good
Walcott split 4 fights with Charles ,he doesn't beat Holmes imo.
