Marvin Hagler: stays at MW his entire career. His career defining fights are against Leonard (moved up from WW), Hearns (moved from WW to LMW), and Duran (moved from LW-WW-LMW). Still regarded as a legend.

Golovkin: destroys competition, nobody wants to fight him, an undefeated WW who is going to outweigh him on fight night decides to fight him........Golovkin is called a coward.

    ESB ladies and gents.

What's sad about it is he's probably right let that sink in. That's how weak his resume is.

This is a lot better fight for Kell than Khan, and people have been ****ing in their pants at the thought of Kell vs Khan for years.
    Jump on the train ppl.
You are going to see Kell fight a live opponent and not only a live opponent but GGG.
Who cares if kell is a WW he will probably outweigh GGG on sept 10th.
    Cracking fight i can't wait.

In much the same way Jose Napoles couldn't overcome Carlos Monzon. :good

As you say Robney, Golovkin's press quote has nothing to do with Golovkin belittling his own resume and accomplishments, and everything to do with him hyping the fight and attempting to generate PPV buys.

In terms of skills Brook probably is the best GGG has faced.

What you fail to realize is that SRL, Duran and Hearns were all elite ATGs before even facing Hagler.:deal If GGG had these type of elites ATG fighters moving up to challenge him then no one would be questioning him but he doesn't, horrible comparison.

come on pimp pac and may are atgs so does that mean GGG beating them would do any him good i for one would not respect that it would be GGGs easiest fights ever

Well you have to consider that Hagler also beat some very good MW's. Also Hearns is a natural 154/160 pounder.

PBF is too small and so is Pac plus they moved up several weight classes to even get to 147 or 154. Guys like SRL and Hearns were big guys when compared to PBF and Pac and they started at WW. Duran was smaller but had no discipline and simply ate his way out of the lighter divisions and had no choice but to move up.

Duran was a 5'7" small framed skinny guy. But he had no choice, but to move to the higher weight classes. He liked beer and eating and sitting around on his ass. Especially after he beat Leonard. He become so legendary and great because of that win. So he just said **** it and was never the same afterwards.
