Rank these 5 boxers strictly in terms of one-punch left hook power: Tommy Morrison Razor Ruddock David Tua Joe Frazier Floyd Patterson
Although I spend a bit of time debating with myself about whether or not Ruddock should be second and Morrison third, I ended up agreeing with this list. :good
One shot power, or the ability to deliver that power? Tua might have hit harder than Morrison, Tommy was faster and had more luck landing his. Frazier and Patterson accomplished a lot more with their skills, but I don't see them up with the top 3 guys here in terms of one shot power at HW. Ruddock's smash look a bit like an uppercut to me? Now that I have made a short story long....my ranking would be: Tua Morrison Ruddock Frazier Patterson
Pretty much agreed, although left hook power and chin is all that Tua has over Joe Frazier. The engine, desire and natural ability to launch effective attacks all go to Joe Frazier.
My dear cmon my man.. patterson for pure power ?😂 I could tell you tons of fighters that did hit " harder" than him with a Left hook. Foreman,****ey,dempsey, wladimir, bert cooper, liston etc etc
I should have clarified-- these aren't my all-time top 5! I was just curious how other people would rank them...
If only this forum had dozens of other active threads addressing a diverse array of other topics... Are you trying to shame the posters who obviously have some interest in this topic? Seems unnecessarily uncivil.
