Froch showed up prepared for this fight.

He fought skillfully, he fought at range, but was simply outfought by a boxer with a style that can be utilized at multiple ranges.

Ward is a tremendous fighter. Ward managed to keep the very lengthy and dangerous Froch just outside of punching range, but still well within range to counter.

Froch did have some moments in the fight, which is a testament to Froch's ability since Ward is very precise with his decisions and is able to evade the mistakes without paying much of a penalty.

Kovalev will have to time Ward at the perfect range, and Ward has to be caught with a shot he didn't anticipate or have time to react to in such away most sufficient to his consciousness during the fight, assuming he doesn't recover in time and Kovalev follows up intelligently.

I honestly am not sure which style Ward will present to Kovalev, but the Froch fight is probably a decent reference to what Ward could possibly do if Kovalev does not successfully time Ward with a big shot.

Kovalev has to be very cognizant of Ward's counterattacks because Ward has shown to be very quick and very accurate in such a way where his opponents are unsure of how they can respond effectively.

If you watch Froch against Ward, you'll see an amazing display of fortitude for Froch where others have failed. Froch could have beaten Ward perhaps, if he threw more feints and followed up with a counter to the counterpuncher.

I could potentially see that right hand landing enough to make Ward sluggish and open for other shots that can be far more disorderly, often to the perception of the audience in vivid destructiveness.

Ward looked as amazing as any boxer with a great performance that stunned the audience into thinking that what they witnessed was a lie. How can it be?

Boxing is a difficult sport. It's one that can have life altering consequences. It is something that was written against our nature in which we conduct our daily activities in the sphere of the Almighty, despite what illusions we have about our individual grandeur. It is a hard twist of fate when your illustration is no longer a reality.

If only there was a way to resolve our tensions without a response of aggression, that maybe we would learn to live in harmony with what we are so cherished to receive at His mercy, Jesus Christ.

The irony is they try to dismiss Froch as a good win for Ward to protect the image of Kovalev and GGG. But forget that Golovkin was itching to fight Froch himself and was willing to move up to do so.

Froch vs. Golovkin or Kovalev would've been a dream. Both of their styles are more suited to mesh entertainingly with his than Ward's. (although it wasn't a terrible fight)

I dont think it was a great win.
Frochs run was a decision over Pascal some dispute, a last minute win against Taylor in a fight he was losing and Taylor wasnt a top SMW, a win over Dirrell that some dispute, a loss to Kessler, a win over a former MW, a win over faded, old never beaten any SMW of note G Johnson that some dispute. That doesnt look a great run and then throw in that Froch was possibly fatigued in that he was on the road for his 5th fight out of 6 and had fought every original member of the S6 with G Johnson thrown in

    I haven't seen Froch-Pascal.
    Prime Kessler beat Froch.
    Dirrell beat Froch 10-2.
    Ward beat Froch 10-2.

It's a good win but Froch is one dimensional.

    I disagree.

I think Froch beat Kessler the first time. Froch certainly beat Dirrell and I'm not sure what the score was against Ward, but Ward did win the fight.

    Froch is a good fighter.

Of course it's a great win when you look at it. If you reverse who won, you wouldn't be saying Frochs win was boring. You'd be giving him props for beating Ward, Foh. Lmfao...
