Nathan Cleverly has a degree in Mathematics, he studied for it while boxing too. Which other boxers have Degrees?

Tor Hamer. Wish I would forget about this disgraceful quitter. I am all right with a boxer deciding not to take unnecessary punishment and calling it a day but this guy literally refused to leave his corner once his opponent showed any signs of life.

Good for him he's smart because he sure wasn't getting rich through boxing.

There is no affirmative action in the Ukraine, unlike in the United States, imagine you trying to get in to a Ukrainian university, you wont be able to :hey walking through the door wont cut it. The Klitschko's can actually find high paying jobs with the degrees they have and their high grade point averages. :hi:

Tor the ***** Hamer went to Stanford or something right LOL. I'm actually curious on what his purse was for the Ruiz and Glaskov fight. The guy was actually a pretty decent boxer, he just had 0 heart.

I mean, we can assume he's a smart MF so he probably realized he stands no chance against top level heavies so might as well act like you do, turn up for the fight, quit, take the money and run. Hardly a dumb decision. Just not very satisfying for the boxing fans I guess.

Beterbiev has a law degree. Marco Antonio Barrera studied law but I'm not sure if he ever finished his degree. His countryman and former foe Juan Manual Marquez has a degree in accounting. Calvin Brock has a degree in finance.

I had him up against Ruiz, he was tagging him at will. But nothing he hit Ruiz with really affected him, and once Ruiz started to land he just flat out quit. He had the talent to beat HW's like Ruiz, he just did not have the heart tot ake the punishment. I don't think it has more to do with him having no heart than thinking he has no chance.

From wikipedia "When Carlos Palomino and Armando Muñíz met, on January 21 of 1977, it was the first time in boxing history two college graduates fought for a world title".

Indeed, that is rather puzzling then. I would assume his quit jobs were business decisions. Maybe not. I remember the Glazkov fight because I was beyond puzzled as to what happened, but not the Ruiz fight to be honest.
