thats not what virg said he said did not want ward to fight kovalev straight away in his words "i would be failing him if i never eased him into the weight class"

kathy "we want to fight ward now "

team ward"we want 3 or 4 tune ups maybe we will fight kovalev 1.5 year in a half"

Kovalev is a great fighter. Very good skill, monstrous power and a BIG Light Heavyweight. It's a tough fight.

Golovkin would get picked off by Ward.

Different types of challenges. Golovkin is more skilled, but Kovalev is more intense, more power. If I was ducking Golovkin I sure as f*ck would not "duck" him by fighting Kovalev.

    read the histroy brah

The reality is ward never wanted the fight hbo and team GGG offered him the fight 2 times and he refused so why should GGG waste more time with him?

GGG moved on and all a sudden ward returns and says he wants 2 or 4 tune ups before he gets in a "big" fight at that time it was either GGG or kovalev so even if he wanted to fight GGG he would never of fought him straight away he wanted the paul smiths and brands before the big fight
