Regular WBA paper defences count for nothing. Sturm was the WBA Champ when GGG was beating bums in defence of a trinket.

GGG barely matches Arthur Arbham at MW . He's light years behind Hop.

Here we agree. Might as well say Mora II is Jacob's 4th title defence.

I've understood everything you've said I just don't agree with the Brook fight full stop. If I were GGG I wouldn't have entertained that as a potential fight.

If CEJ didn't want it then I would have walked away from the 02 date and looked to arrange another fight entirely. He's made his decision and that's fine but I don't want to hear anything from his team about how legacy should take precedence over 'business' decisions ever again. Their pseudo-moralisng has to stop now.

    Another clueless post.

This fight was a last minute replacement.

    Do you understand?

When he signed the contract, there was 9 weeks until the fight.

Last week they had the press conference etc.

Both guys have only just started their camps.

The fight is now less than 8 weeks away.

How on earth was GG going to agree to a 154/155 CW?

Seriously, why don't you think before you post?

GG has NEVER weighed in at 154 pounds in his 10 year career, yet you expect him to do so for the first time in only 8 weeks??

If the fight was signed months ago, fair enough. But it was only signed 10 days ago and the fight is scheduled for the 10th of September.

Stop hating and look at things objectively.

Would you rather have chocolatito vs wlad or no fight at all? People like to watch freak circus acts, doesn't mean that GGG isn't a coward and hypocrite.

It was a late replacement fight, it's either that or K2 had to start from zero and walk away from millions in revenue. Look how fast the tickets sold out. Everything was set: venue, date, location, logistics.

Props to Brook for stepping up, just STFU and enjoy a good card mere weeks from now :good :happy

Look at things objectively? THis is coming from one of GGG's biggest nuthuggers. At the end of the day this is a business move, but it doesn't make it not cowardly and hypocritical. Don't cry about Canelo being a busniessman, don't cry about Canelo bringing up Khan to 155 if you're going to one up him and fight a WW at the full 160.

Canelo is the money man, he could have had any guy at 160 or 154, like a DECENT threat type of guy. He chose Khan instead.

Regardless of GGG-Brook, Canelo is a fraud.

"My point is that you just bring numbers up your ass, you never back it up. For all I know Usyk weighs 50 pounds more than Zurdo and rehydrates to an incredibly high weight. You have absolutely no credibility behind your post since you just base everything off estimation."

:hi: Loudon owned again  go suck GGG off more.

All he had to do was to hit a weight he's NEVER made in his entire career, in an 8 week camp?

    Yeah.

    :nut

    He hasn't dragged Brook anywhere.

He accepted Brook after the Eubank fight fell through.

Let me know when you can comprehend this.
