Either don't come off as a complete hypocrite crying and whining about how Canelo is pulling up a smaller guy to 155, and also saying Brook is "too small" in several interviews, or fight him at a CW of 154-155. If you don't do this, expect criticim for being a coward and a hypocrite.

I get it, you're mad about this fight but if GGG refused they would still be searching for an opponent and he wouldn't fight until Oct/Nov.

In answer to the original question, I'd have s****ped this fight in the UK and looked for a new opponent. GGG is entitled to make a cash grab if he wants but he loses the high ground him and his fanbase were shouting down at the rest of the division from.

It's a **** fight against a relatively untested WW at MW. I'm going to give it all of the flack it deserves. It's indefensible IMO.

How can GG climb the WBO rankings? Don't you know how these Org's are run? GG isn't listed in the WBO's rankings. Just like how Billy's not listed in the WBA's, the WBC's and the IBF's. GG will NEVER become Billy's mandatory.

The reason GG took step aside money from Canelo was because he had the opportunity to fight Lemieux for the IBF belt, knowing that Canelo had to fight him or relinquish the belt afterwards. Again, you need to objectively look at the circumstances.
