No sane professional boxer let alone a world champion would go through with a fight in Wilders position. Nobody. Even if Wilder wanted to fight he couldn't have, the WBC had no choice but to postpone it until Povetkins test issue was resolved. Obviously until that point the fight cannot happen for a whole host of legal reasons. It's really not rocket science.

Well, given that Wilder isn't actually a legitimate world champion (that would be Fury) the comparison between the two paper title reigns is valid. Povetkin has done better work before and after the WBA reign, it should be noted.
