No doubt Wilder has power for days. But I keep reading how because he throws with so much power that's the reason he broke his hand.
Maybe, just maybe it's because he throws with improper punching technique at times, like he did when he was trying to get Arreola out of there in the 4th.
Malignaggi busted his hands up a lot and he had the power of paper towel roll.

Yep this, what a brainless thing to do when you're in the ring with a walking corpse,I'm not having a Pop at Arreola cause we already knew he was shot,my point is Wilder knew it and in trying to knock his head off like he does he's made a real mess of his career,to think he could of fought Povetkin win, lose or draw and be sitting pretty money wise?

He also hurt his hand vs Stiverne. And he has had issues prior to that as well.

Hopefully Wilder can recover in time to put Povetkin to sleep first half of '17

Because he tends to punch like a guy without proper training and has done so for the length of his career.

Yet there are Fanboys here and on other sites, that try to tell us he is improving LMAO. In all sports you will only improve facing better competition to drive you forwards. Wilder is his own worse enemy and still looks really really amateurish. As soon as he faces a proven fighter he will come unstuck and we can all say we told you SO

This thread wasn't started to hate on Wilder. His flaws are well documented.
This thread was started because of the post Arreola media promotion making it seem like he has "other worldly power", and because of this massive "power", he hurt himself.
Guy hurt himself because he was flailing his limbs instead of punching with precision.
ESPN's Dan R. and similar media ilk have given this guy comic book power, so much so, his own body can't handle it.

throwing and landing wild swinging windmills might have something to do with it
