Because those things are entirely down to religion are they? There are no socioeconomic or political factors at play?

Your simplistic view of recent atrocities aside lots of things happen without religion as a factor and would continue to do so if the whole world abandoned any religious sentiments they might have.

What a wise man you are.

You think that somebody questioning religion is more sufferable than being held hostage and then executed?

Avoid the bits you don't like and ask a sensationalist question? You bet.

Your point might have some validity of people were only held hostage and excuted by religious extremists. They're not. The world wouldn't change as much as you think if all religion was abandoned.

History has proved humanity capable of atrocities without the belief in any of the '32,000 Gods' you so like mentioning.

Oh and if only it was just questioning...

And nobody has argued otherwise. You however, are trying to shift attention from your ridiculous argument that people questioning religion cause more suffering than the maiming and killing of religious fanatics.

You're the one who brought up atrocities. Personally, I think that the people who committed them are the type of people who would have done something awful for one reason or another.

You're also taking the word 'insufferable' quite literally. Why? Because it suits your little agenda. My advice? Grow up. No-one is going to think you're any smarter because you passionately declare yourself an atheist.

Run away little man. You made a series of silly statements and are seemingly unable to objectively look at any given sentence within context.

You've run out of ways to deflect - bringing up terror attacks and the like - and have now thrown your toys at the prem. For someone who claims to like facts over speculation you clearly haven't look at the numbers regarding religious beliefs and attacks/crimes.

I shouldn't be surprised, it what's your ilk always do when challenged.

There's no point Sugar. Even the atrocities committed in the name of religion are nothing to do with religion according to your personal belief system

If a belief in sky pixies benefits your boxing, how come the Archbishop of Canterbury has never fought for the Lonsdale belt??

If you had the inclination to look into the numbers I'd imagine you'd feel differently.

If the number is big enough you can connect dots to make pretty any point you want.
