That whole era was juiced to the gills. There was plenty of access, minimal to non-existant testing, and minimal repercussions even if you did test positive. It's not like they DQ'd you and put a loss on your record or took your titles away.

Not much has changed with the exception of somewhat tougher testing (it couldn't possibly have gotten any more lax).

Question is was it really maybe he used so much peds that his body started to break down hance the fast decline. Maybe it was his old team that gave him peds!

i think mid 80's till 90's boxings testing was not that strict! Actually Tyson was first that had huge muscles combined with speed pirior to him emerging it was either u were beanpole like holmes or heavy blawler like shavers or weaver.

After Tyson we saw Lennox, Tua's ibeabuchis and others! They all became jacked, fast plus their boxing skills.
