Probably Lewis, if he has a good night. Too big, technically savvy and too many tools for Tyson. If Lewis has an off night, Tyson will send him a get well postcard at the hospital.

Tyson 86/88 would have won by knockout. I liked Lewis and he was a good boxer but his chin was his achilles heel as both McCall and Rahman proved. By 02 Mike was completely shot and finished at world level and bears no resemblance to the wrecking machine who unified the division 16 years previous. Lewis' skill set would trouble him for a round or two but lands the combo putting the Brit to sleep..Tyson KO5 Lewis

    True.

But he was closer to it than Tyson was.

2 year later of your peak you are not very past your best, forget it, maybe you are not in your peak but you are in the end of your prime or pretty close to it, so this argument for lewis is not valid

Its perfectly valid.. he was 36 years old in 2002, starting to show up at career high weights, was in the last couple bouts of his career, and in one of his more recent fights was KO'd by hasim Rahman.. Start a poll asking people if Lewis was prime in 2002, and I think the majority would say no.

lewis peaked in his 30s so the "36 years old " argument is irrelevant, in november of 2001 he did show one of the best performances of his career with the ko over rahman and you tell me that in 2002 he was another fighter and finished, bull****!!!

How about just one year after that? Was he prime against Klitschko too?

he was around 7 pounds heavier for the vitali fight than he was for the tyson fight, he looked good still in 2003, simply too much heavy and a little ponderous. the fact is that he was still very good in 2002, far from the shot fighter that you are trying to insinuate that he was
