Stevens is basically Spike mkII, this fight would not be close by any means

What does Stevens do better than Spike? They are the same guy basically

Wouldn't mind that I reckon it would be a proper tear up.

Monroe Jr would be a really risky fight he'd give Eubank hell imo

Stevens doesn't hit harder than Spike and he has the same low out put as Spike. Maybe he might have better hand speed and foot work but that wouldn't be enough.

CEJ would bash him and then you would call him a bum

He hasn't had the same breaks as Stevens has, that doesn't mean he wouldn't KO similar opponents. His only losses are to world class fighters like CEJ and BJS. Stevens has been beat up by bums before.

Spike KO'd Fitzgerald good, Andy Lee went 10 rounds with him

    Who has Stevens KO'd?

Hahahah you can't argue that spike is a big puncher cause he ko'd anthony fitzgerald ffs. Andy Lee also went life and death with craig mcewan and lost to brian vera he's more of a fighter who steps up his performances against better opposition he always looks garbage against bad fighters.

Stevens has stopped tureano johnson and he beat that patrick texeira in 2 rounds who was unbeaten in 26 and highly rated. Spike probably wouldn't even beat them 2.

Johnson fight was not worth writing home about, in fact it was a despicable robbery. Johnson didn't even get knocked down and he only had 30 seconds left to survive, he was still defensively aware and covering up and that was the only flurry he landed the whole night.

Johnson dominated him and would do it again unless Stevens won the lotto again, Spike has a similar chance against TJ as well.

Texiera lol, I watch a lot of boxing and I don't hardly recognize a single name on his CV, 26-0 bum fights.

I would say Stevens is a much better fighter than Spike too. Spike is domestic level whereas I'd have Stevens as a sort of fringe contender. Both quite tough guys but Stevens has quicker hands and a better defence too. He also hits harder; I don't buy Spike's power being much more than above average to be honest. I've heard all the sparring stories but haven't seen the real evidence.

I wouldn't call Monroe Jr a bum either, he'll never win a world title but he's a good fighter for sure. He got the SD loss to Boone but Boone is Boone, he also KO'd Adonis and floored Ward and Kovalev (I think). He'd be a bad style matchup for Jr imo

Spike is domestic level at best. Saunders made him look ridiculous and Jr made him quit.

Take those two names away from his record and what is left? Who is Spikes best win?

I really don't understand where Spike gets this reputation from :huh

Nah Stevens is a gate keeper at best, well past fringe contender status if he ever was even that. If he was European he would be the epitome of Euro level and people claiming he would be a good fight for CEJ are just plain haters especially if at the same tome they call Spike a bum, they are the same guy.

Tureano Johnson made Stevens look ridiculous for 9.5 rounds then got caught and that can happen, TJ wouldn't win a round against BJS. There are levels and Stevens simply isn't that good, he would get a hiding against CEJ.

Monroe Jr gives GGG a hard fight and now he's a beater, "YEAH RIGHT"

He won a round tops and got put down 3 times man, was hardly a hard fight.

Stevens has looked more competitive against better fighters than Spike has, that's all people are saying. Plus on the eye test alone I still think Stevens looked the better fighter too.

I don't think Spike is a bum but I wouldn't say he is past domestic level at all. Whereas I would say Stevens would comfortably beat Spike. I'd have Jr as the favorite against Stevens but 1) I think Jr gets hurt at some point unless he fights in a more sensible manner 2) I would say 99 percent of the boxing community would agree it's his best win too.
