Parker's last fight before facing Anthony Joshua sounds like it might be against the 6'7" Russian-born giant Alexander Dimitrenko. He is a highly rated opponent.

What is your take on this fight?

This fight will never happen. Dimitrenko won't make it to the ring. He has been mentioned numerous times lately, fighting Ortiz, Briggs, etc. , but always pulls out.

If it does happen, Parker within 3 rounds.

Dimitrenko is not great... But I can see what they'd pick him. He has some of the physical attributes and skill(although at lower level) of Joshua, Wilder, Fury, Klitschko etc. Probably the 2nd best opponent he's faced after Takam.

This. Decent opponent, I won't complain, but obviously not in the top tier of HWs.

Dimitrenko was decent five years ago. It would be waste of time for Parker.

Dimitrenko is the same size as Joshua. And a rather decent fighter.

I think that is the rationale.

Parker is not ready for Joshua just now. I am not sure if he will be ready in a year or two, but fighting boxers like Dimitrenko can not help him anything. Dimitrenko is not an active boxer. Who was his last decent opponent ? And when ?

Why not Teper ? Or Miller ? Of course, Pulev would be the perfect opponent.

More Pulev hype. I can't wait for him to face someone top tier again so he can lose handily and then everyone will know just how mediocre he is and in my opinion was to begin with.
