No doubt about it. He is one of the best ever. His dominance is unquestionable though I'm sure many will hate. No boxers record is perfect but Floyd always has the answer.

How can you dominate if you don't fight the best? Yet another that thinks anything other than'Floyd is the best' ishate. Unbelievable.

RJJ is a great comparison my good man, I used to champion his greatness here back in the day before he let his ego outgrow his pea head... RJJ was untouchable, but as he grew older the decline was noticeable. I blame it on weightmaking though, an older man should never burn weight back down to lower divisions, it weakens them. It was only after he boiled down the rot set in...
Floyd though wont make that mistake, & thats why hes going to outlast RJJ & blow even his great legacy out of the water.

Your boy JC was right to bow out when he did, cos the danger signs were there. & thats what shocks me about Floyd, the fact that as he gets older & remains inactive, he can take out bigger younger guys without breaking sweat, & looking even more impressive as he ages!

A true freak of nature? maybe. A true boxing ATG? hell yeah!!!

anyone laughing at me for bowing to Floyds greatness here should really take a long hard look at themselves. The man is so great that I know before I die I wont see a better fighter.

    Apart from pac;)

Until Floyd fights & beats him, he cannot call himself the best ever. Its as simple as that. Biggest fight in history if it happens. even Floyd cannot talk his way out of this one, no matter how hard he tries.

    i agree he's a terrific talent.

2 of his last 3 fights have been a disappointment opponent wise though.

marquez at 147 was always heavily stacked in his favour.

and ortiz had only just become a title holder and very green still.

why ain't he testing himself against someone like sergio martinez.

    up at 154.

if they can't settle the differences with pac of course. :patsch

    :deal

I'm too old to be considered a 'G'. A good ol' chap would be a more suitable description.

It's very difficult to argue with the level of competition Floyd has faced throughout his long and distinguished career. I doubt anybody has beaten as many world champions as he had.

One of the biggest duckers out there.

A career based on avoiding fighters in their prime and selective retirement to avoid fighters.

Great fighter but can never ever be considered one of the best

Or Martinez, Margarito, Bradley, Golovkin, Winky, Williams...

He avoided a ton of fighters. That's common knowledge.

    Says the Khanturd.

I'm not a fan of Floyd but he did more at 130 than Amir Con did in hus professional career so far.
