Thanks,no,I'm a Brit ,this will be my first time in the US. I go Thursday morning and come back Tuesday morning. My seat is row 10 $123.75.I believe the Centre can hold 18,000 so I'm taking binos with me.
Frampton has the right style to cause lsc a lot of problems, if he's sharp enough he should have some success BUT the more ive seen of lsc the more i think his workrate will be too much for frampton to handle, also the height and reach advantage is an issue. i think we may see frampton hit the deck from a bodyshot. i'd love for frampton to pull this off but think he'll lose on points
It's a shame Carl hasn't got Barry's left hook to head and body. It would do a lot for his chances if he did. The problem for people trying to explain how he can win is that it is. A lot more complicated....it is much more straighforward to explain how LSC wins. The other side of that though is that LSC can really only win one way, whereas Carl is more versatile.
This makes for interesting reading http://gizpress.com/carl-frampton-v-leo-santa-cruz-compubox-stat-preview
Let's not forget Carl is a undefeated fighter who won two world titles at 122, i think Santa Cruz beats him in a close fight but I still think he could become a Champion at 126.
I'm pretty sure quiggs jaw broke because his mouth was open to be fair although I also agree with the post about maybe Santa Cruz possibly not carrying that much power too. That's why I'm favouring Carl on points, I'm not sure being busy will be enough for Santa Cruz to win. If frampton can take his shots comfortable then I think he out points him
Online it says LSC has a 69" reach, and Frampton only 62": wondering whether such a significant difference would give LSC the nod. Rooting for Frampton but think he has to box a perfect fight to win here.
I'm not sold on LSC being a big puncher like some are making out, he hits hard enough but it's his constant pressure that wears opponents down. Real good fight this is, but I think Frampton is too sharp for him.
the punch output from lsc is a big worry. will frampton be able to do enough each round? could see him touching down and falling behind on the cards and getting desperate.
Cruz is just another overhyped fighter from the other side of the world. Carl is due a killer performance, and it might just come against this guy due to Carl not having to cut as much weight and this guys style.
