Of course he could have. He made that clear early in the fight. But he didn't despite having nothing to fear from Postols power and nothing to fear from Postols ability to box.
I think he could have and he should have. He tried in the 12th when he went to Orthodox but it was too late. Should have tried in 10th on. Would have helped his marketability big time. That's where I'm at. Crawford tried two or three times to knock his ass out but he didn't go and indeed fought back when Crawford stopped his assault. I think the only legitimate time he had him ready to go, that BS standing eight stopped it.
Yeah, that was weak and undignified. I wonder why some fighters do that. It's mostly done when they getting their asses kicked but Crawford was winning. Maybe it was frustration at not being able to knock Postol out.
