Juan Manuel Marquez, a purely skilled fighter who practiced his craft without the need of the "clinch" that so many greats throughout the years have felt the need to use. Its sometimes inevitable for great infighters to get into clinches, but the stereotypical standup center ring fighter like Floyd Mayweather and Bernard Hopkins who often intitiated clinches???? How about a list of fighters like Marquez who boxed purely and rarely if ever used the "clinch"??? I don't think there is that many in the sport of boxing actually. I'll start the list by adding a second fighter........ Eric Morales. Like Marquez, whether in a brawl or boxing center ring, the man used fistic methods not clinching tactics. Name more???
Morales & Marquez two steroid cheats,**** them and his huggers. Better options would be: Salvador Sanchez Jose Napoles Orlando Canizales Sumbu Kalambay Miguel Canto Willie Pep Mike McCallum
Ricardo Lopez Salvador Sanchez Orlando Canizales Mike McCallum Yuri Arbachakov Gilberto Roman Donald Curry
I'm from the UK and I always liked watching Colin McMillian box, he won a world title, WBO featherweight title but lost it in his first defence because he had to retire with a dislocated shoulder. Very good boxer, what I'd call a pure boxer.
Herol graham.seriously talented.seriously unlucky not to be champ.made an absolute novice out of Jackson but switched off for that split second.many fighter did, your not remembered after that
