Flanagan maybe awkward southpaw but no chance Crolla beats Burns.. Burns is still a better champion either way

Again about opinions. A really rated groves on here but feel he has peaked two froch fights and he lost both and both by ko. Martin Murray had him hurt periods fight and clearly has stamina issues. C smith a do think has potentials don't think he will be as gd as sky hype him but yes do feel he beat jack due to his sheer size and skill think be handful just like Ramirez they are huge at weight

i like your passion pal but what makes you think that this version of ricky burns beats lineres, crolla or flannigan? i am a massive ricky fan but that guy he beat for a world title was woeful and got a gift decision in italy against a past prime lenny daws:good

i hope that ricky really has turned a corner and is back to his best but realistically we all know that his best days are gone and he should just enjoy whatever fights he gets over the next year or two before he hangs them up:good

    Fair enough.

I think Smith will be exposed at the top level though and I'd pick Groves - who is also big at the weight - to beat him. It's obvious to see why he's getting such hype, he's a matchroom fighter with a brother who commentates for Sky. I'll be interested to see if he can live up to his billing.

True Ricky made best of his talents and achieved far more any of us will boxing ring and good guy aswell been couple fights was great atmosphere but agree boxing crazy can't see on current form how rocky beats any 3. Infect Crolla reminds me Ricky not beat had a few losses gd opposition early but prob prepared him better and guy figjtin out his skin and has pure heart which can make or break you. Burns fought Gonzales who looked a gd fighter but no heart

Burns isn't a champion, he has a paper title.

I said when the crawford fight came up Burns would get murdered and Billy and all the Burns fans went mental. The truth was he beat Burns that night in 2nd gear!

Burns is a nice bloke but he is a poor champion, but in the same regard good luck too him.

    Bang on.

Ricky had Gamboa, JMM and Broner as company and never faced ONE of them.

Jesus, he came severely unstuck against guys like Beltran!

And Billy said he was better than Jim Watt!:lol::lol::lol:

Do u think groves would beat degale in a rematch IMO think degale beats both groves and smith this point ,they r hyping smith up a lot tbf but do think he is decent again only time will tell but do need to step up level prob with British fighters is don't step up class opposition enough then lose. Most hype was Campbell who still don't rate as don't think has power beat top guys and lost to mendy who just a big strong guy and Joshua wher I still think top level he will lose. All opinions tho

There hasn't been a trainer as deluded as Billy from these isles, ever.

I think Groves would beat Degale again. Degale has neither the stamina or concentration for 12 rounds fights IMO. He squeezed past a rusty, shopworn Dirrell and if he keeps on trying to coast through the second half of his fights will lose again in the not too distant future.

This said we don't know how Smith will hold up in a 12 rounder against a world class opponent. My money is on not too well.

Campbell's flaws has been highlighted. It'll be interesting to see if he can correct them and live up to his early hype. Again, I doubt it.

AJ might prove to be the real deal in years to come but I think he's especially vulnerable at this point in his career. I expect him to be continually in the mix over the course of the next 5-6 years without dominating in the fashion some expect.

Agree with u on Joshua. Think with degale groves both have stamina problems be fair think tho degale be so fired up that as he feels he doesn't get credit he deserves Think make for a good fight
With smith do feel they need improve opposition and depends who put him in with . Does anyone know if burns is fighting hattons fighter his name eludes me and if they no much about him seen had a lot of kos but not sure quality he has faced cheers

Unfortunately it's just the way of the modern boxing world, lot's of is is merely a sham.
I wish I could wave a magic wand and we just have one true champion per division and 10 ranked contenders.
There are fighters now holding belts who are called "world champions" who are probably not in the top 20 best contenders never mind top 10.
