    Both guys had a very similar style (shoulder roll and counter punching skills) and would have made for a classic chess match. Who wins this at MW?

    I've only seen a little footage on Benton but Toney was much more accomplished so I would have certainly have to go with him… stylistic similarities withstanding...

    Perhaps similar to Leonard vs. Benitez. A superb fight technically speaking .

    Toney! Benton was a bit of a Jimmy Young,I don't feel he had a champion's mentality.

    I'm going with Toney, I believe he was accurate enough to land on Georgie Benton and take the majority of the rounds.

    Don't underestimate Benton, the only reason why he never got a title shot was because he beat Joey Giardello.
