And there's my answer. You're F&D baiting, Puge. Using Ron Lyle and David Tua? Shooting fish in a barrel.
I may be baiting a bit, but that is not the sole purpose for creating this thread. People are seriously picking Tua to beat guys like Louis and Tyson. And as for Lyle...never will I comprehend how such a shockingly average fighter is elevated to borderline greatness. And his power is massively overrated.
Tua not only would beat marciano but it would be a one sided masacre, the nostalgic fans never will deal with it .Louis did not have the chin to survive scary moments with tua,if David Lands a big shot it is good night for louis.if you do not admit that tua would have realistic chance against these 2 you should be banned.
Marciano would have a non stop onslaught. Tua never fought anyone as devastating a puncher as Marciano who also threw 100 punches per round AND had a great chin. Tua doesn't have much of a defense so it wouldn't be remotely difficult for Marciano to find his mark. Marciano would either stop Tua or shut him down and win a wide UD. How can you tell when a guy like Marciano would be beaten in a massacre? We never saw him hurt so we don't know his limit. We only know what he has taken. Vingo started a war with Marciano and that ended with him on the ground unconscious violently shaking.
Your reasoning is pretty sound. And I for one can understand it. Esp considering the many times Louis was knocked down, and Marciano had major defensive liabilities to go with small size in comparison to Tua. 192 Rocky at his max, 235 Tua at his most effective, and all the way to 253. It would be a bad match-up for both Louis and Marciano. But in terms of just greatness Tua's not in the same zip code.
I'm surprised you didn't say "Tua is bigger". That seems the only reasoning you have for Tua ever winning a fight. Tua hit harder than Lewis, weighed just about the same and had a better chin but didn't win. Why?
