How come Shannon Briggs is quiet in leadup to Briggs-Haye?

He'll probably start the antics next month....

Looks likely Haye will be fighting Browne now instead for vacant WBA

 

This is terrible of Haye if he does pull out.

He promised Briggs this shot.

 

I was also looking forward to Haye v Briggs but don't think it will happen now he has a shot for WBA title, it would be silly to turn down the opportunity

 

Briggs will then know what it's like to Haye's wife

 

It seems it is far more likely that Browne will fight Oquendo for the Mandatory. So Haye should still fight Briggs.

Briggs pricing himself out Im sure.

Haye isnt about to give anyone a mil to fight him as an opponent for one of his HayeDays....he's probably looking for the best way to spend 100K for an opponent, and maybe offer Briggs another appearance.

Briggs was supposed to fight Dimitrenko in order to get Haye, but Im sure Haye was fully expecting Briggs financiers to foot some of the bill for a quality opponent, which is why Sascha said noone from Briggs team had made him any type of sincere offer.

Briggs can fight Gjarjag next while Haye squares off again Whyte, and maybe that will be enough to sell Briggs as a genuine opponent for winter.
