he's getting $2 million to fight a semi-retired 40 year old former middleweight, who wouldn't want to make that kind of money following the path of least resistance
You love drooling over all the money your gаy idol is going to make. Stop trying to drag me along with you - I'm into women.
I think Barrera is pretty darn good so if Ward actually does fight Ward next, and I have little reason to doubt that he will, who cares that he's fighting Brand? Holyfield fought Vauhn Bean just before Lewis.
Right, never in history did anybody fight all of their toughest matchups back to back to back. Really odd for these idiots to call for boxers to not fight in between big fights. Boxing is already hurt by top boxers only fighting 2 times a year on average. edit. "The disappointed Bean, who was ranked No. 1 by the International Boxing Federation and was Holyfield's mandatory"
For anyone to come on here and say Sullivan Barrera is good, YDKSAB. Barrera has mediocre skills. He wins with decent chin and a powerful punch. That is it. He's been put in against guys to make him look good. Watch his fights and see how horrible his fundamentals are. Lets look at his last 4 opponents (which were his best wins) Karo Murat - A boxer with a carfully crafted record. Everytime he stepped up he gets beat. Not one meaningful win on his record. Murat is a flat footed plotter who's only style is to come straight at you. Hakim Zoulikha - On a three fight losing streak before fighting Barrera. The line form to the left of guys who have beaten Hakim. Sad part is Barrerra was having a tough time with Hakim until he landed the fight changing punch in rnd8. Jeff Lacy - Need I say anything here? Rowland Bryant - went 2 and 5 against euro bums before fighting Barrera. Only reason it wasn't 0 - 5 record was because of 2 matches against guys without a winning records.
naturally, when youve had 17 pro fights, your last 4 wins are probably your best.....and for the average fighter( i have to stress this because if i said "pro fighters usually have about that kind of resume 17 fights in"...this dingbat would tell me "well look what loma was doing 2 fights in" as if that were the norm) his resume is about where it would be after 17 pro fights....he has a pretty good amatuer pedigree, in good shape, with good size and pretty good skills.... nobody is tryna act like hes a top 20 p4p fighter here....but even wards biggest haters were saying it was a good fight and good test at 175 for ward......it just upsets some people when barrera couldnt really do anything
Barrera is not a bum. He was a live underdog and I actually thought he had a chance. Paul Smith...Yea, no comment. Brand is okay. He is hard to hurt so the fght will go 12 rounds, which is what Ward needs at this point.
Warming up before he puts a beating on Kovalev. (Giving you guys a couple months with the myth of "the Krusher")
Ward is the single most overrated fighter in boxing in the last 25 years. He's beaten two A- level fighter and one of those was B+ after a real elite in Calzaghe ruined him, and Ward couldn't even look good doing it. KOvalev will absolutely beat him down decisively and it won't even be close. I'd pick Chilemba to beat Ward if they fought next month and KOvalev beat him handily. I hope Ward does sack up and fight KOvalev in vegas so I can serve these casual fans that infest this joke of a boxing site some baked crow.
:rofl:rofl:rofl I don't know the poster you're referring to, Shock. So I can't comment on whether or not he's a troll. But the sheer humour in YOU calling ANYBODY a troll ! :rofl
